Mark A. Biebel, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Mark A. Biebel, Surgeon podiatrist, is a graduate of Monmouth University, West Long Branch, New Jersey, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, New York City, and completed his surgical residency at Lutheran Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. During his residency, he also studied at the Joslin Diabetic Clinic, Boston, Massachusetts and Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Biebel is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery; he is Board certified in Foot surgery. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American College of Foot Surgeons. He holds medical and surgical privileges at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank; Shrewsbury Surgery Center, Shrewsbury and is Chief of the Department of Podiatric Surgery, Bayshore Community Hospital. Dr. Biebel is dedicated to providing well-informed, thorough care to all his patients in the most professional and caring manner possible. Mark A. DeCotiis, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Mark A DeCotiis received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware. He then attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where he was a member of the Pi Delta National Podiatric Honor Society and was nominated for Who's Who in Colleges and Universities for his academic achievement. Dr. DeCotiis did his surgical residency at UMDNJ/ University Hospital in Newark NJ where he specialized in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle and served as chief resident in his final year. Dr. DeCotiis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is currently a clinical instructor at UMDNJ, Newark, where he is dedicated to the training of podiatric surgical residents. He holds surgical privileges at Bayshore Community Hospital, Riverview Medical Center, and the Shrewsbury Surgical Center. Dr. DeCotiis is an attending physician of The Wound Care Center at Bayshore Hospital where he treats chronic ulcerations of the lower extremity. Dr. Mark Decotiis specializes in all aspects of foot and ankle pathology, including diabetic foot care and limb salvage as well as pediatric care.
Gina Lagnese, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Gina Lagnese obtained her bachelor of science degree from Rowan University. She then received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University school of podiatric medicine. Upon receiving her doctorate she completed a two-year surgical residency at St. Mary’s Hospital/Hoboken University Medical Center.
Dr. Lagnese has been an integral part of Biebel and DeCotiis Podiatry Associates since 2005. She has medical and surgical privileges at Bayshore Medical Center and Riverview Medical Center, both part of the Hackensack Meridian health system, as well as Shrewsbury Surgical Center. Dr. Lagnese is also a staff clinician at the Center for Wound Healing in Holmdel, NJ. She is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery as well as a fellow of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She treats all aspects of the foot and ankle with a special interest in acute care.
Demetrios J. Grossos, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Grossos is a graduate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick where he received his bachelor's degree. He went on to complete his doctorate at the NY College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan. Following this, he completed a 3-year surgical residency at NYU Lutheran Medical Center. During his time there, he worked with several orthopedic, plastic, and general surgeons to perfect his techniques. He served as the chief resident during his final year overseeing everything in the podiatry department. Dr. Grossos is also Board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and Board Certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons
Dr. Grossos treats a wide variety of foot problems including, but not limited to: heel pain, toenail disorders, fractures, and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Grossos takes a conservative approach to treating foot and ankle problems. If conservative treatment is not enough and surgery is necessary, Dr. Grossos will do everything he can to not only fix the problem but to also provide a great aesthetic outcome. Dr. Grossos is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Grossos has privileges at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, NJ, as well as Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, NJ. He also has surgical privileges at Shrewsbury Surgery Center in Shrewsbury, NJ and Metropolitan Surgical Institute in South Amboy, NJ.
Dr. Grossos also has a strong passion for sports. He participates in charity basketball, flag football, and hospital softball leagues year-round.
Michael Warren, DPM
Dr. Michael Warren is a board-qualified podiatric physician and reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon. He was born and raised in South Jersey and received his undergraduate degree at the James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. He went on to receive his doctorate degree at New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan, where he finished at the top of his class. Dr. Warren then completed his surgical training locally at Jersey Shore University Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. He has extensive training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, wound care, management of traumatic injuries, and sports medicine.
As a well-respected physician among his peers in the medical community, Dr. Warren has established himself as a skilled foot and ankle surgeon. He has an intellectual, caring, and understanding approach to patient care. His philosophy is to provide the appropriate care while also keeping your best interests and overall wellness in mind.
In his free time, Dr. Warren enjoys going to the beach, surfing, exercising, and watching sports. He and his wife are looking forward to growing their roots in the area, and he is excited to be a part of the practice. Dr. Warren looks forward to being a part of your healthcare team.
